Madeira had pulled the 2 kindred bodies to a corner of the alley. Nearly spent, all she could really do was stand ready in the corner, watching carefully for more intruders. And smoke a fresh cigar. Her hat lay on the ground in front of her as she studied it carefully, as if it were a foreign object covered in blood, ash and goo.

Fucking cigar was hard to smoke with only half of her mouth available to use. She hated Vicissitude. With a fiery passion of 1000 burning hells.

The German officer walked into the alleyway, weapon drawn, and very clearly aimed at Maderia.

He all but screamed in French at her "STAND UP! HANDS OVER YOUR HEAD!"

No time to mask, no time to do much. Sigh. She simply put her hands on her head and looked the officer in the eye.

"Please sir, my leg! It's broken. I cannot stand. Please help me!" She spoke in clear, perfect German.

"Please, sir, please don't! I haven't even tried to attack you!...." Her eyes narrowed and her eyes went cold and dead as a smile crossed her lips. "Yet."

She did not have time for this... But, he would make for a decent meal. She seemed to consider this as her smile widened.

She risked the blood, and burned for celerity, lunging for his legs from her seated position.

She wrenched the gun free and cold cocked him. She then hid them both from view via supernatural means. She would have to wait to feed on him until the coast was clear... So again, here she was, starving, staving off her Beast as well as she could and simply, she waited.

He strolled up in full SS uniform, and looked over the two bodies, frowing. "This. This will not do at all." He looked around a moment, and shook his head. "No witnesses....who could have done such a thing?" He knelt, touching the bodies and looking them over.

Madeira couldn't wait any longer, she began to feed from the officer she was on top of, both under her obfuscate. Just enough, a trait, maybe two. Her eyes never left the officer, watching carefully at what he would do with the bodies on the ground. Only being able to feed out of one side of her mouth was a real pain in the ass.

Sam came around the corner.... the full weight of Maderia's summons compelling him. Seeing the SS officer though, he froze. Enemy bad. Enemy near Maderia summons, even worse.

Swiftly he drew his .45, and four shots quickly dropped the obfuscate around him, and entered the back of the German.

The youth, casually dressed, nothing out of the ordinary, moved with a near silent step. His hands tucked in his pockets and his features obscured by the shadows of night and those cast by the sixpence he was wearing. All in all, nothing special at first glance. The jacket didn't quit suit him, his shoes looked like they might've seen better days.
Just another nobody. At least, as before, at first glance.

Now, if it hadn't been for the sudden sound of gunshots ringing out he might've passed completely unnoticed all together. Though something about that all too familiar sound seemed to snap him out of whatever line of thought had brought him there in the first place, causing the youth to slide sideways into an alley.

Now what.. or well, he figured he knew what, it was just a matter of who and how bad really given the circumstances. So given that he still did not know the full extent of the situation, he went with the safe approach of disappearing form sight as he wrapped the shadows of night around him with the power of the Blood.

Valis slowly stood, and turned, quirking an eyebrow as he opened his hand, the four slugs in it, flattened. "Firing upon an officer. Tisk Tisk. Now, did you have anything to do with the attack on these men? If the one responsible comes forward, I won't have to start questioning the citizens of this street." He widened his stance a little, waiting.

Time to end this... Before even more people's attentions were brought on this alley.

As Valis stood and turned toward Sam, Madeira wiped her mouth of the blood that lingered there. She stood, her location closer to the officer than anyone else's. She dropped obfuscate-- her beaten, broken form evident as she crossed her arms. Her half-Vic'd mouth very apparent.

"I'm responsible," she spoke as clearly as possible to the officer in an attempt to get his attention.

"Weak, indeed. Are we done here?" There was a definite edge of coldness to her tone while her expression revealed nothing more.
